I have a picture that I found on Google. Can I use this on my design?
We can only put images on to bar runners that you have permission to use. Images from Google are usually subject to copyright, and usually cannot be used in a bar runner design. For example, we would not be able to use images from Disney or MARVEL unless you had permission from those companies to use their intellectual properties.
I have designed my desk mat on your website. Have you received it?
Once an order has been carried all the way through to payment, we will automatically receive a copy of the idea you have created on our website - as well as any original photographs or images used.
What makes for the best custom designs?
Most designs are unique to the individual, and are usually created to fulfil a specific need or requirement, however we do have a couple of suggestions to get the best results:
- High quality artwork/images - the higher the quality of the original file used, the better the final printed result tends to be. All of our in-house designs are created using lossless, vector-based software and most high quality artwork tends to be the same. Sending/uploading files as PDF, EPS, SVG or high-resolution JPEG/PNG tends to generate the best results. With regards to photographs - the larger the file size, the better - is usually best practice.
- Match your design to its intended level of use - designs can be created in any number of colours, however, we advise that darker colours tend to fair better than lighter colours. Darker colours are better at hiding dirt and marks created through regular, general use. We cannot guarantee that mats with lighter designs will be, or will remain, free of marks once printed.
Can I speak with a designer?
Our in-house design team operates during regular business operating hours (9am - 5pm GMT), on weekdays only (Monday - Friday). If you find that there is an issue with your automatically generated preview, or you have something more specific in mind for your design, a designer can be contacted here or via email.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We aim to dispatch orders 1-3 business days from the day of purchase. The time taken for an item to be delivered by Royal Mail can vary. We offer a couple of Tracked postage options to give you the best possible control over your order, and once an order has been dispatched, we will provide tracking information.
We also offer a Fast Track service at checkout - which includes both faster printing and the fastest available shipping - and in-store collection from our Bradford location.
Do you deliver internationally?
We are now providing international shipping for countries outside of the UK. If you have any questions regarding the cost of shipping to your country, please feel free to send us a message or an email.

How do I care for my desk mat / mouse mat?
Mats can be rinsed off under the sink to remove spills. They can also be washed in a standard washing machine, at 30 degrees Celsius (or below), using a mild detergent. Bar runners and mats should then be hung to dry. Do not wring or tumble-dry. Store/stack your mat(s) on a flat surface to reduce bending and creases.
